BioBorn and raised in the outskirts of Toronto, Canada, I had your typical suburban childhood with Girl Guides, figure skating and piano lessons. As if there were any other choice, I went to University and miraculously stuck through it, emerging with an Honours BFA (it's an honour to be a Big F#@&ing Artsie). Shortly after graduation, I finally moved out, finally got a cat, finally got a motorcycle, and taught piano for the Ontario Conservatory of Music. In what would be the dumbest move I've ever made, I quit and bounced around in various franchise and corporate structures before I wised up and took my pierced, tattooed, so-not-corporate, motorcycle riding ass to the countryside with my the love of my life, to start life anew on my own terms.
Today, I am living in beautiful Vermont with my cat and my husband. I still play the piano. I'm still a poser (I do yoga, har har) and I still like books and art and music. I'm learning the art of Aerial Fabric and Static Trapeze at a circus school, and when prompted, will light balls of canvas on fire and twirl them around for fun. Life is good.
